The brief
A local electrician with steady word-of-mouth work needed a site that did the same job during the late-night Google searches when the boiler trips at 11pm. The old site was effectively a holding page, it neither built credibility nor captured enquiries. The brief was simple: somewhere customers can land on a phone, see qualifications, and book. No fluff, no gimmicks, no generic tradesman template.
The approach
We built around the moment a homeowner is on a mobile, in their kitchen, with a problem. Click-to-call sat right in the hero. Qualifications and accreditations were visible above the fold. Services were spelled out without jargon, and a contact form caught the people who'd rather type than call. Local SEO was baked in from the foundations: schema markup, NAP consistency, Google Business Profile cross-linked.
